Easter and the Park

Last Sunday was Nolan's first Easter and his first trip to the park (well his first trip to the park to play). The weather was beautiful and after a morning of fellowship at church we packed a picnic lunch and headed to Holiday Park. kevin and I had gone there while I was pregnant to take pictures. We also had gone there in the fall and had attempted to take some family pictures...however, Nolan did not think that was a good idea at the time. This time he really seemed to enjoy himself. He swung in the swing for the first time and went down the slide with Kevin. We had a wonderful time.

I can't believe how fast Nolan is growing and changing. How did I become a momma of a 7 month old?!?! It is so fun watching Nolan do new things and develop into his own little person...but I wish he would slow down a bit!! He now has four teeth (two front bottom and two front top), he is sleeping most nights through the night or at the worst wakes up once, he twists, turns, and rolls to get where he wants to go, has been caught on all fours a time or two, tries to climb out of his whale tub, loves to get into anything and everything, really enjoys his jumper, and has the sweetest laugh. He is quickly becoming my little boy instead of my little baby.

Here are a few pictures from our time at the park.

  1. Such sweet pictures!!! Good job to both of you getting at least one with each parent in it! We have been having trouble with that because Luke is so mobile and independant, hard to get him still long enough! Can't wait to see you guys in June!
