Pumpkin patch
The weekend of October 26 my mom came down for a little visit. She arrived Saturday morning. We enjoyed coffee and a little breakfast after her arrival and then headed to Waterman's farm to pick some pumpkins. It was a very cold and windy morning. They had different games and activities including a big T-Rex that ate pumpkins, a straw maze, pony rides, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and more. The boys had a lot of fun despite the cold. After running around after the boys we had a hayride out to the pumpkin patch where we quickly picked our pumpkins and jumped back on the wagon to head back. It was a neat place (a bit pricey) and I think we would have enjoyed being there longer had the weather been nicer but we made memories! :)
Nolan enjoyed climbing the hay bales and going through the hay tunnel maze.
Lucas just enjoyed running around
Later that day we enjoyed another hayride, a fire, and yummy food at our church's annual fall party.
On sunday our family of four headed to the Zoo for Zoo Boo. It was a popular activity as the weather was nicer than Saturday and it was the last weekend for the event. The boys enjoyed themselves and I enjoyed watching them having fun and enjoying the animals.

Trick or Treating was rescheduled from Thursday to Friday due to lots of rain and strong winds. So we invited our friends Dori and Tom over and we enjoyed staying warm and carving pumpkins. Nolan didn't want to touch the "pumpkin beans" because it was the "yuckiest thing I've ever seen" but he did have fun watching me clean the pumpkins out and helping Kevin carve the faces.
So proud and excited
Hope you have enjoyed your fall as much as we have enjoyed ours!
