Big Boy Haircut

This was Nolan's hair last weekend.....

This is Nolan's hair now!

If you remember from an earlier post, Nolan's first haircut experience was not an easy one. Because the first experience was so difficult we had been putting off getting his hair cut again. We finally decided that it had to be done and we headed back to the same place we had gone for the first one. This experience was VERY different. Nolan sat calmly the entire time. He didn't squirm, cry, or scream once! It was awesome. He sat still, playing with bubbles the entire time (we tried the bubbles last time and they did not help :)). He definitely looks different...much more like a little boy.

There seems to have been a problem with the pictures that I tried to upload for the blog "This Weekend", so I am trying again! Enjoy!

One of the highlights from our trip to the zoo was seeing the newest addition to the zoo. What a cute little elephant or "fentant)

This Weekend

It is only mid-day on Saturday and already this weekend has been packed full of fun activities. Friday evening after work we packed-up some blankets and a few snacks and headed down to Victory Field to watch the Indianapolis Indians play some baseball. Our friends Matt and Erin joined us and we had a wonderful time! Nolan made some new friends, we experienced a few rain sprinkles (we were sitting in the lawn and it wasn't enough for us to leave), ate some hot dogs, and after the game Nolan watched his first fireworks! And he LOVED them! After it was done he was asking for more. :) It really was a good fireworks display. Nolan was up waaay past his bedtime, but I think it was worth it. After getting buckled into his car seat Nolan turned to me and said "Fun".

Nolan was pulling things out of the diaper bag and before we knew what was happening he had gotten into the Sudocrem (diaper rash cream..) and was smearing it all over his face!

Below are pictures from Nolan's little photo shoot with daddy this morning.

Saturday morning we decided to go to the zoo. Nolan has been asking to see "amals" (animals) including monkeys and pigs. Again, we had a wonderful time! We saw so many animals and Nolan thought they were all "cool". Below are pictures from our morning at the zoo.

Nolan fed the giraffe. "raf food!"
