Movin' Right Along

We have now hit the 34 week mark and I can say that I have also hit the uncomfortable mark. I had been holding strong until about a week ago. My coworkers have commented on the difference between the two weeks in my size and energy. I'm definitely ready to go home and relax by the end of the work day. Any tips about staying as comfortable as possible or treating the aches and pains would be welcomed. I have been trying to keep up on my walking and stretching which I think is helping. After our appointment next week we will start seeing the doctor once a week. Can it really be true that we have hit that point?! While we want to keep him cooking as long as possible (and by as long as possible I mean 40ish weeks not longer!!) we recently found out that our doctor is going to be on vacation over our actual due date....definitely not ideal so I guess we will see what happens. It would be great to have her there and not someone that I don't know and who hasn't been getting to know us over the last 9 months but we may just have to go with the flow. We are starting to get more prepared for labor and birth. We started our Lamaze classes two weeks ago (have had two now) and are learning some great relaxation techniques. Kevin has been getting some good practice in on the massage techniques learned in class! :)

The following are my 33 week pictures. On Sunday Kevin and I went to a local park for a little walk (which turned out to be a little more of a hike than I was interested in) and took some pictures along the way.

Nursery...almost done!

Kevin and I decided to stay in Indy this 4th of July weekend. In thinking about what we might do we decided that since it was going to be rainy it would be the perfect day to start working on the nursery. We already had the crib, dresser/changing table, rocking chair (that kevin was rocked in as a baby), and recently got the bedding set. The bedding set has light orange, light green, light blue, and yellow. So for the walls we decided to use the light orange and light blue with a brown border separating the two colors. This week we bought the paint and today our friend Matt came over to help with the project. I am so happy with how it has turned out!!! There are a few things left to do to finish it off but it feels good to have gotten most of it done in one day!! :)
