Lucas Gets His Hair Cut

Today, at the age of 18 months, Lucas received his first haircut.  My hairdresser, Amy, did a wonderful job.  The boys and I went over to her beautiful home after church today and we enjoyed an afternoon of haircuts (both boys) and playing with her two boys (ages 3 and 2).  Lucas did AWESOME!  It was a difficult decision to make to get it cut because he has such beautiful red curls, but it needed to be done because it was bothering him.  I'm happy to say that it still curls! :)  Just one more way that my baby is not so much a baby anymore.....  

Santa 2013

Today we went to Christmas on the Farm at one of our favorite places, Traders Point Creamery.  We went two years with Nolan before Lucas was born.  Last year we didn't go because unfortunately Nolan was sick so this was Lucas's first year seeing Santa.  We have some great pictures of Nolan from the previous years with pure terror on his face, however this year he was excited and actually wanted to sit on Santa's lap.  The wait was long but Lucas and I held our spot in line while Nolan enjoyed playing in the wet snow with Kevin.  This year Nolan smiled and told Santa what he wants for Christmas...a hammerhead shark!  Enjoy these pictures from our day.
